Bovines smuggling bid foiled

UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 15 cattle and arresting two smugglers.
As per reports, a team from Majalta Police Station during checking at Manwal intercepted a truck bearing registration number PB02CC-2098.
During checking, police team rescued 15 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested two persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Ranjeet Singh, son of Mangal Singh and Kuldeep Singh, son of Mager Singh, both residents of Amritsar Punjab.
A case under relevant section of law has been registered at Police Station Majalta and investigation started.
