Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Jan 20: Khour police under ‘Operation Kamdhenu’ foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing five cattle and arresting one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Khour Police Station led by ASI Ghulam Hussain laid a naka near Nai Basti Naryana and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02BL-0231.
During checking, police rescued five cattle from the vehicle and arrested one person, who has been identified as Talib Hussain, son of Ali Hussain, a resident of District Samba.
A case under FIR Number 2/19 under section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Khour Inspector Joginder Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma and SP Rural Jammu Dushyant Sharma.
