JAMMU, Aug 12: Narwal police under ‘Operation Kamdhenu’ has foiled a bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Narwal Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police rescued 10 cattle from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused managed to escape.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal Police Post SI Varuneshwar Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Parvez Sajjad, SDPO East Vipan Chandra, Incharge SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
