RAMBAN, Dec 2: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing six cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka at Shan Palace and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number JK02B-8889.
During checking, police rescued six cattle from the vehicle, while the driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 171/17 under Sections 188 RPC and 3PCA has been registered at Police Station Ramban and hunt has been launched to nab the driver.
