JAMMU, Nov 10: Pounic-hak police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing three cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pounichak Police Post laid a naka near Kalika Colony and intercepted a Mahindra Pick-up vehicle.
During checking, police rescued three bovine animals from the vehicle, while the accused smugglers escaped from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
