Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Nov 2: Gharota Police today foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per official sources, a team from Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal laid a naka at new bridge Thathi and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number HP11-4861.
During checking, police team rescued 13 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Bilal Ahmad, a resident of district Kulgam.
A case FIR Number 115/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Gharota and investigation started.
