UDHAMPUR, Oct 22: Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Udhampur led by SHO Inspector Raghubir Singh Choudhary laid a naka at Tharad and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing Registration Number JK14E-8153.
During checking, police team rescued 7 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Raham Ali, son of Jamal Din, a resident of Satyalta Kheari.
A case FIR Number 434/2022 under sections 188 IPC and 11PCA was registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
