Bovines smuggling bid foiled

KATHUA, Sept 4: Rajbagh police foiled bovines smuggling bid and arrested one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Rajbagh police station laid a naka at Korepunnu and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK02BA-6506.
During checking, police rescued 3 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who has been identified as Gurdeep Singh, son of Raghubir Singh, a resident of Ward Number 2, Simbal Camp.
A case under FIR Number 164/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Rajbagh police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Rajbagh Inspector Sarabjeet Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SDPO Border Ravel Singh Choudhary and SSP Kathua Mohammad Suleman Choudhary.
