Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, July 10: Ramkot Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Post Ramkot led by Inspector Gurvinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Billawar Arvind Kumar and SSP Kathua RC Kotwal laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number JK14G-3797.
During checking, police team rescued two bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Salim Mohammad, son of Qasim of Dhalpur District Udhampur and Murad Ali, son of Ayoub Khan of Dalsar Tehsil Ramnagar District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 105/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Billawar and investigation started.
