Bovines smuggler arrested

JAMMU, May 16: Bishnah Police arrested a bovines’ smuggler and rescued two cattle.
As per police sources, a team from Bishnah Police Station during patrolling intercepted a person carrying bovine animals.
During questioning, the person failed to give satisfactory reply and police arrested him. Two bovine animals, which the person was trying to smuggle, were also rescued.
The arrested person has been identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Roshan Din of Village Khairi Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 79/2020 under section 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Jammu Adil Hamid.
