UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: Foiling an attempt of bovine smuggling, Police today rescued 21 animals that were being illegally transported to Kashmir Valley.
During a routine search, Roun Domail police intercepted truck bearing registration number JK13C-1538. During search of the truck, 21 bovine animals were found inside. Police rescued the animals and seized the truck even as the driver managed to flee.
A case in this regard has been registered at Round Domail Police Station.
