RAJOURI, Sept 22: Police in Rajouri district foiled a bovine smuggling bid in Chatyar Chingus area and rescued ten bovines besides arresting two accused smugglers.
Police said that a team from Chatyar Chingus Police Post, headed by SI Ashish Chowdhary under the supervision of SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani, was on routine patrolling in the Chatyar area when two smugglers were intercepted when they were smuggling ten bovines.
Both the smugglers were arrested while a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at Rajouri Police Station.
