Almost regularly periodically bovine animals smugglers and illegal traders are nabbed by the Police. It is evident that all the smugglers and their vehicles normally headed for Srinagar cannot be possibly apprehended and they get on with this illegal trade. It is usually during night hours , during rains etc; these thieves find opportunities to succeed to give a slip to the police . At times such incidents give room to conflicts and tensions . It would be proper for Police to have co-ordination between its various units en-route Jammu Srinagar and Mughal Road – Srinagar and set up more Police and intelligence infrastructure to nab these smugglers and thieves.
