Bovine smuggler detained under PSA

JAMMU, Dec 24: The District Magistrate, Samba today ordered detention of a notorious bovine smuggler under the Public Safety Act (PSA). He has been identified as Mohammad Iqbal son of Noor Mai, a resident of village Madera in Samba district.
Reports said the District Magistrate Samba issued the PSA warrant of the bovine smuggler on a dossier prepared by Ghagwal police headed by SHO Inspector Anu Sharma under the supervision of SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
Noor Mai had been arrested while smuggling bovine animals a number of times. Police have decided that habitual smugglers of bovine animals would be booked under the PSA.
Immediately after the Deputy Commissioner, Samba issued the PSA warrant, police sent Noor Mai to Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal.
