JAMMU, Sept 19: Secretary, J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Raiz Ahmed today took a meeting of the Board officers and reviewed arrangements for conducting fair/smooth forthcoming examinations of Regular candidates of Winter Zone.
The meeting held in the Conference Hall of the Board and was attended by Prof Veena Pandita, Chairperson of the Board, Arif Ahmed Akhoon, Joint Secretary (Publication) Central, Altaf Hussain, Joint Secretary (Secrecy) JD, Roshan Lal Gupta, Joint Secretary (Exams) JD, Sarita Anand (Joint Secretary (General) JD, Chief Accounts Officer, Central and many other officers. Director School Education, Jammu, RK Sarangal and JK Sudan, Chief Education Officer, Jammu, were also present.
During the course of meeting, the core issues pertaining to the conduct of forthcoming examinations, particularly 10th, 11th and 12th of Regular candidates, Winter Zone 2018 along with ETT 1st and 2nd year (Reappear candidates) were discussed at length and on spot instructions given to Joint Secretaries and other officers regarding smooth/ fair and copy-free examinations.
It was also instructed by the BOSE authorities to the concerned that Question Paper packets should be delivered to the concerned police stations well in time and any wrong opening of packet of Question Papers by the Superintendent concerned shall be viewed seriously.
At the end of the meeting, all the officers present on the occasion, assured the BOSE authorities that they will work with full zeal and enthusiasm in order to conduct the forthcoming examinations in fair/ smooth and copy-free manner.
It is apt to mention here that JKBOSE is going to conduct the 11th Class Regular Board Examination starting from Winter Zone in place of CCE Examination being conducted earlier by the concerned higher Secondary Schools.
