JAMMU, Mar 8: In a significant development, Chairman J&K Board of School Education, Sheikh Bashir, Secretary Renu Goswami and Joint Secretary Javaid Khatib among five officers were today recalled back to parent Higher Education Department.
A formal order in this regard was issued today by the Principal Secretary Higher Education, K B Agarwal.
Two other officers, who have been recalled back to Higher Education Department, included Mohd Kazim Wani and Aijaz Ahmad Kanth. They are presently working as State Editor, Gazetteers Unit J&K, Srinagar and Lecturer in Women Polytechnic Srinagar, respectively.
As per the Government order number 103-HE of 2013, dated 8-3-2013, these officers are recalled backed to the parent department with immediate effect.
Having the designation of Principal, Sheikh Bashir, Renu Goswami and Javaid Iqbal Khatib were on deputation to the School Education Department and working as Chairman, Secretary and Joint Secretary, respectively in BOSE.
