Earlier in his interaction with the beneficiary from Ladakh Tashi Tundup, Modi talked about arrival of tourists in the Union Territory and his experience with the Government schemes.

The house was constructed under Prime Minister’s Awas Yojana.
Modi lauded Tundup for his love and devotion towards Army and asked did he face any problem in getting benefits of the Central scheme.
“No, I didn’t face any problems. I came to know about the Central Schemes through Television channels and then got the guidelines. Administration just enquired about my land and gave me funds for construction work,” Tundup said in his interaction with the Prime Minister.

Modi said that before 2014, there was news about various scams but now his Government’s development schemes and zero-tolerance against corruption are discussed.
Before 2014, corruption was viewed as an essential part of Government, he alleged.
