JAMMU, Nov 16: Borderless World Foundation, Jammu Kashmir Ladakh– an NGO working with the aim of providing safe shelter to homeless, orphaned girls, has erected a hostel for the homeless girl children at Lale Da Bagh, Sangrampur.
The slab work of the hostel was initiated today by BJP State secretary and newly elected Councillor from Ward No 41, Sanjay Baru, who was also accompanied by BJP State press secretary and State media incharge, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Atul Chopra and Ashok Singh Wazir.
The Foundation has initiated the ceiling (lantern) work of more than 5000 sq feet for the roof of ground floor of hostel with the capacity of over 200 girls. The founder of the organization is Adik Kadam (Chairman) from Maharashtra, Gourav Kaul and the Director of Jammu region is Rajni Mahajan.
Dr Sumit Mahajan is looking after the affairs of NGO. The Foundation is giving shelter to more than 250 girls in 6 centres different parts of city from the last 18 years. The Foundation is taking care of all the needs of girls, right from accommodation to eating facilities. The foundation has also donated 6 critical care ambulances to Army, and other organizations.
Sanjay Baru, while speaking on the occasion, said that the NGO is serving the society with selfless motives. He said that the organization is doing the divine work by giving shelter to these homeless girls, which should be appreciated by one and all.
