SAMBA, Aug 23: Vijaypur police arrested a bootlegger along with 22 bottles of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The arrested person has been identified as Tarsem Lal, son of Girdhari Lal of Dera Ganotra, tehsil Bari Brahmana. The scooty bearing registration number JK21E-2517 on which the accused was carrying illicit liquor has also been seized.
A case under FIR Number 148/2020 under section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
