Bootlegger held with 200 bottles of illicit liquor

JAMMU, Jan 22: An alleged bootlegger was arrested with 200 bottles of illicit liquor from Akhnoor area here today.

Arjun Singh of Lehar, Akhnoor, district Jammu, was arrested with the illicit liquor by a team of Police Station Akhnoor from Pannu Chowk area after a tip off was generated regarding his involvement in selling illicit liquor in the area.

He has been booked in case FIR number 18/2024 Under Section 48-A of the Excise Act Registered at Police Station Akhnoor and further investigation taken up.
