Bootlegger arrested by Chinore police

JAMMU, May 25: Chinore police today arrested a bootlegger from Nardani Thathar and recovered 35 pouches of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Chinore Police station laid a naka near Nardani Thathar and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds.
On checking, police recovered 35 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, who has been identified as Waryam Chand, son of Goga Ram of Kalaari, Kot Bhalwal.
A case under Excise Act has been registered at police station Domana and investigation started.
Police party headed by PSI Deepak Katoch made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar and SHO Vijay Choudhary.
