JAMMU, Dec 11: Khour police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Khour Police Station apprehended a man along with 11 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Ram Lal, son of Gittan Ram, a resident of Khour.
A case under FIR Number 93/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Khour SI Jeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
