JAMMU, Jan 14: A book `Des Hoya Pardes’, depicting tragedy and sacrifices of refugees from Pak occupied Kashmir in 1947, was released at simple function here today.
The book was released by Sant Tejwant Singh from Dera Danna, Muzaffrabad (PoK), in presence of  S Harmohinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh Raina, Davinder Singh Vishavnagrik and some other prominent members of the community from J&K Sikh Council and other bodies.
It was disclosed at the function that book has been produced by Harmohinder Singh of Lower Beli Charana Jammu Cantt, who tried his best to project the most painful and tragic tale of the refugees from PoK in 1947.  ‘Des Hoya Pardes’ is the title of the book. It has been mentioned in the book that in how painful manner and refugees of 1947 were forced to leave their homes in PoJK and other parts, on that side.  The discriminatory attitude of the Government here in resolving their issues has also been highlighted in the book.
