Book ‘Aao Vartman Savaren’ released

JAMMU, Sept 25: The book ‘Aao Vartman Savaren’ a collection of 21 articles on art and culture written by eminent English, Dogri and Hindi writer Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ was released on Amazon, Flipkart and Notion Press.
Focal point of these articles written in Hindi language is to put forth the necessity of preserving mother tongue Dogri and cultural traditions that are facing a threat of extinction like many other regional cultures.
The contents therein advocate that we should have a pride for our identity. We will be remembered as Dogra, then why to shun away from our responsibilities towards our language, culture and heritage?
The articles are based on optimistic approach that sooner or later we will feel a feel for our existence as the inhabitants of this region. But if it happens at an earliest, it will be good. The title page of the book, a symbolic one is designed by Mrinailini Singh.
Through these write-ups, the writer says that it is the high time that we should realize our role to preserve our language and culture and promote it so that it should not be limited to historical references only. In that case future generation will curse us for not being accountable towards our existence.
He expressed concern over hesitation in conversing in our own mother tongue when all others feel proud for same.
