REASI, Oct 10: Prominent personalities of Bollywood which included Pahlaj Nihalani, Chairman Censor Board, Hans Raj Hans, Padam Shree Awardee, Singer, Mohinder Batla, CEO MH One Group, Ganesh Jain, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Venus Records and Tapes Ltd, Barkha Arora, Vice President, ZEE Network and R C Raina, CEO Navgrah Channel, Rakesh Wazir, President Hotel Association, Katra amongst others paid obeisance at famous shrine of Lord Shiva at Shiv Khori today.
Ravinder Kumar, Vice-Chairman SSKSB (Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board) and Mahesh Sharma, CEO, SSKSB received the dignitaries on behalf of the shrine Board.
Ravinder Kumar briefed the guests about development activities taken up for the development of the shrine and improved facilities for pilgrims visiting the shrine.
Pahlaj Nihalani, while speaking on the occasion, assured support from Bollywood in promoting the pilgrimage tourism of the shrine. Nahalani was thrilled by the natural formation of deities in the natural cave and was mesmerized by the natural beauty of the area. He assured launching of a creative concept by Bollywood to promote the pilgrimage of the shrine. He further promised to showcase the shrine in his forthcoming projects.
On the request of Ravinder Kumar, Vice Chairman SSKSB, Mohinder Batla, CEO MH One Group announced live telecast of morning and evening Artis from the holy shrine on its MH One News Channel.
R C Raina CEO, Navgrah Channel informed that his channel will be showcasing the shrine through a special documentary. Hans Raj Hans, famous Punjabi singer told the media that he would initiate a new track which would highlight the holy shrine.
Bollywood dignitaries felt fascinated by the beauty of the surrounding area of district Reasi. They also appealed to the Yatris paying obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to visit the holy shrine of Shri Shiv Khori, situated merely at a distance of 70 kms, coverable in less than two hours and to enjoy the scenic beauty of the holy shrine.
