BOJ cuts economic view for 2 of 9 regions

TOKYO, July 7:  The Bank of Japan cut its assessment for two of the country’s nine regions in a quarterly report issued on Thursday. The central bank maintained its assessment for the remaining seven regions, most of which said their economies continued to recover moderately. The report, issued at the BOJ’s quarterly meeting of its regional branch managers, will be among factors the BOJ’s board will scrutinise at a rate review on July 28-29. (AGENCIES)
