RAMBAN, May 13: Batote police today recovered the body of a person from Chenab river, who was washed away in the river on April 10 near Prem Nagar area of district Doda.
As per police sources, body of a man identified as Yog Raj, son of Prem Nath of Prem Nagar, District Doda was recovered from river Chenab near Chakwa Nallah in Batote.
The man got washed away near a bridge in Prem Nagar area of district Doda on April 10.
After completing legal formalities, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
