JAMMU, May 26: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh held a meeting today under the chairmanship of its State President Subash Verma.
In the meeting, various issues of working class were discussed threadbare. Various demands were projected during the meeting, which include implementation of already passed VDA under Minimum Wages Act, wages to all the private sector workers must be given through bank account payee system, speed up the regularization process of casual workers, stop discrimination with Jammu based NHM employees as termination of Kashmir division employees has been revoked, implementation of the order for the release of State share of Anganwadi workers without any further delay, conduct DPC meetings in all Government Departments particularly PDD and PHE Department, provide insurance cover to all the PDL, need based and casual workers working under PDD and give minimum wages to mid day meals workers.
The meeting was also addressed by Ram Dass Pandey, senior leader of BMS and Incharge North Zone.
Among others present were Lakshman Ravinder Singh State Sangathan Mantri, Dev Parkash, Kartar Chand and Anil Kumar from Reasi, Bushan Sharma and Ishfaq Chohan from Kathua, Chanan Singh Toor, Ravi Kumar Harbans Choudhary, Sachin Bali, Rajinder Sharma, NK Gupta, Rohit Seth, Romesh Lal, Roop Lal, Bua Ditta, Neelam Sharma, Swarna Devi and Kamlesh Kumari.
