BLSKS stages programme ‘Nasha Kola Bacho’

JAMMU, Dec 13: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare Department and Sangam Tru Art Production
staged a programme ‘Nasha Kola Bacho’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Among the guests of honour were J.K Raina, freelance Producer Director Films, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K, Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, Registrar SMGS Hospital and R.P Amla.
The specially prepared items on the theme were ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, ‘Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho’, ‘Nai Pee Shraban’, Nukkad, skits, songs and dances.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest laid stress on the dangers of drug use and its illegal trade.
Welcome speech was given by M.L Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS who appealed to the audience especially children to be the eyes and ears of the nation and pledged to put maximum efforts to make J&K free from the menace of drug addiction.
Anju Dogra in her address stressed for extracting the maximum attention of the masses especially addicted population who suffered from the use of tobacco and tobacco products, alcohol and other things.
Artists which participated in the programme were Usha Handoo, K.K Joshi, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Bindia Arora, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Chahat Chadha, Kanchan, Gouri Lal and others.
The programme ended by vote of thanks by Master Deepak Kumar.
