JAMMU, July 18: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe and ESRM staged a musical play “Ekta Mai Bal”, based on the theme of strengthening the bonds of communal harmony and secularism.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in presence of Dr Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department, Romesh Chander, Director of Event (musical play).
The play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, Chairman BLSKS.
The renowned artists from the field of music, folk, classical, vocal, dance and theatre staged colorful cultural programme depicting secularism.
The singers, musician and actors who performed were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Raju Bajgal (Harmonium), Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma, Shaksham Khajuria, JK Raina, Rajni Gupta, Neelam Gandotra, Sant Das (Tabla), Hem Raj, Kamli Devi, Sunil Kumar, Rajat Verma, Shivani Disgotra, Deevam Jandiyal, Maitriya Salaria, Rakshit Sharma, Darsh, Dhruv Pandit, Pranavi Khajuria, Rajanya Khajuria, Renu Saproo, Abhyudaya Sharma, Rajveer, Vandana Gupta, Anantika Sharma, Neha Bhat, Shan Khan, Rajesh Kumar, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib and Ayush Bhat.
In the end, Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
