JAMMU, Mar 1: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented Dogri Musical Play ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, Health Department J&K, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K and Mukesh Singh, media person were guests of honour.
Specially prepared items on the theme along with skits, songs and dances were presented to aware masses.
Earlier BLSKS felicitated artist Zulekha Bano and Rahul Kumar with certificate for their outstanding contribution in the field of performing art during Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2024.
The artists of BLSKS presented theme based songs written by Dr. M.L Dogra and the music was composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS chairman.
Mahesh Chander Kotwal, secretary BLSKS also spoke on the occasion.
Artists who performed on this occasion were Zulekha Bano, Raju Bajgal, Chahat Chadha, Rahul Kumar, Sudesh Kumari, Sanjeev Kumar, Naiya Meenia and Renu Bala. Deepak Kumar Dogra presented vote of thanks.
