BLSKS presents musical play ‘Nasha Cha Bacho’ at Dr Ambedkar Convent School

JAMMU, May 3: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and Social Welfare Department presented Dogri musical play “Nasha Cha Bacho” at Dr Ambedkar Convent School, Bantalab (Jammu) today.
On the occasion, a pledge was administered by Chahat Chadha to more than 250 students/teachers. The program was inaugurated by chief guest Vijay Dogra (Principal, Dr Ambedkar Convent School, Bantalab). Among the guests of honors were Shriya Sharma and Payal Gupta, senior teachers of host school.
The musical play, written and directed by Dr ML Dogra, commenced with the songs “Nasha Na Karna – Man Lo Kehna”, “Hogi Badi Khrabi “, “Khand Mithe Log Dogre ” and “Labour Ka Kam”. The music of the play was composed by music teacher Raju Bajgal.
Vijay Dogra, in his speech, said that the Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment which has formulated and identified most vulnerable districts in terms of usage of drugs in the country. He said these vulnerable districts were identified on the basis of findings from the Comprehensive National Survey and the inputs provided by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of the Music and Computer Institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Raina, Raju Bajgal, Bindia Okheda, Chahat Chadha, Rajni Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Rahul Kumar and many others.
