JAMMU, Jan 20: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in co-ordination with National Computer Education Institute and Sangam Tru Art Production staged musical play “Ekta-Ekta” at Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu, in its Saturday series.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest, VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Among guests of honour present were RP Amla, event director, BLSKS, Dr AC Bhagat, former Chief Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dr Anju Dogra (J&K Health Department).
The musical play was written by ML Dogra, chairman, BLSKS. The programme commenced with songs “Koi Bole Ram Koi Bole Allha”, “Ek Hamara Wahe Guru Essa”, “Ekta Ekta Ka Diya Zameen Pe Sada Jagmagata Rahe” and “Suno Suno Eh Bharat Wale Hum Sab Ek Saman Hai”.
The music of the play was composed Raju Bajgal, music instructor. The singers , musician and actors who performed were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, Tilak Raj, Raju Bajgal, Megha Raina, Rajni Gupta, Ankit Singh Baloria, Druv Pandit, Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Vansh Raina, Nishesh Bhat, Bindiya, Sakshi Kumari, Shiv Kumar, Bodh Raj, Sunil Dalotra, Yamin, Muneeb, Rahul Raina, Deevam Jandiyal and Kuldeep Raj.
