JAMMU, Nov 25: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production (STAP) and J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society today staged musical play “Beti Bachao Beti Padao” at Durga Bhawan, Janipur, here in its Saturday Theatre series.
The programe was inaugurated by the chief guest VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India while Dr AC Bhagat, former Chief Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry, and JK Raina, Producer, Director Films, RP Amla and Event Director, Dr Anju Dogra, were the guest of honors.
The song sung by the artists were “Hum Sab ki Ladli Beti”, “Dhiyan Gi Na Marro”, “Mang Rahi Hai Beti Jag Mai Jine Ka Adhikar”, “Baiman Lok Kase Diya Mar De”, “Sun –Sun Saheli Meri Sun, Paruhn Likhu Yehi Meri Dhun” and “ Kya Pier Kahun Apne Mann Ki”. The music was composed by Raju Bajgal.
The singers, musician and actors who performed in the play were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, Rajni Gupta, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Druv Pandit, MC Kotwal, Vansh Raina, Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma, Bhoomika Chib, Ujwal, Rakshit Sharma, Darsh Kachroo, Vanshika, Shivali, Parul Sharma, Priya, Sakshi Kumari, Sumeta Bhat, Renu Saproo, Nitin Sharma, Afroz Raaz, Mahi, Ritik, Ganshayam Yadav, Kuldeep Raj and many others.
