JAMMU, Apr 16: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare Department J&K and Sangam Tru Art Production here today presented musical concert ‘Nashe Kola Bacho’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Among guests of honour were Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director Health Department and Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, Health Department while J.K Raina assisted the concert.
Special items prepared for the theme were ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’ etc.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest highlighted the dangers of drug abuse and its illegal trade.
The BLSKS artist also presented songs like ‘Savdhan Savdhan Corona Mahamari Se Bacha Lo Apne Pran’ written by M.L Dogra.
Welcome speech was given by M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS who appealed the audience especially children to be the eyes and ears of the nation to make it free from the menace of drug addiction.
Artists who participated in the musical concert were Usha Handoo, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, K.K Joshi, Kamla Devi, Tilak Raj and others.
