KISHTWAR, Jan 23: A blood donation camp was organised by the Kishtwar Rashtrya Rifles in association with District Administration and Red Cross Society Kishtwar.
The event was inaugurated by Brigadier Ashit Bajpai Commander 9-Sector RR along with Ghulam Nabi Balwan, DC Kishtwar, Sandeep Wazir, SSP Kishtwar and Dr Sham Prasad Gupta CMO District Hospital Kishtwar. Officials from Civil administration, Sarpanchs and Panchs were also present.
The speakers apprised the gathering that Army has taken an initiative of blood donation which is a noble cause. Along with blood donation, a free medical checkup for the participant was also conducted.
