Sir,
The 8th day of November 2016 will be remembered as a Red Letter Day in the annals of Indian history by all the people of this great country. The step of demonisation of Indian currency notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 has been highly appreciated by the people in general but the people affected otherwise have begun to spend sleepless nights. In the initial stage the Congress Party, the biggest opposition party, also appreciated the move but later, keeping in view the reaction of other political parties, followed suit and made it an agenda for the discussion in the winter parliamentary session. The black money holders must be spending sleepless nights but honest people have felt relieved that the step may go a long way in eradicating corrupion and black money. No doubt the people may suffer for a short time but they have to dispense with it in view of the large interest of the country. This step is just a start. Let us wait for the next move of the PM when the earthquake like move may take place. Let the black money holders and corrupt people learn a lesson from such a bold move and give a chance to the hapless and innocent masses, making hardly both sides meet in the economic field. The move has and will improve the monetary health of the country and the dream of digital economy will soon be fulfilled.
Yours etc….
