Joined by senior party leaders including former Minister Sat Sharma, State vice-president, Yudvir Sethi, district presidents, Parmod Kapahi, Rekha Mahajan and spokesperson BJP and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, Purnima Sharma, hundreds of enraged activists under the leadership of BJYM State president, Arun Prabhat shouted slogans against the Pakistan and Bilawal Bhutto.
They also burnt the effigy of Pakistan Foreign Minister and Pakistan Flag to express their anger over the highly objectionable remarks against the Prime Minister.
“Pakistan Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto, whose Government has miserably failed to even arrange two-time food for its people, has made these remarks under sheer frustration. The comments reflect the utter frustration of a desperate political leader trying to make himself relevant in the failed state of Pakistan,” Arun Prabhat said while addressing the protestors.
Seeking an unconditional apology from the Pakistan, the BJYM State chief said, “His (Bhutto’s) vilification of Prime Minister, Modi emanates from his country’s frustration over its inability to continue using terrorism as State policy. Pakistan has become an epicenter of terrorism and the country has resorted to some unethical means to save its image at global level”.
In his address, former Minister, Sat Sharma demanded that the Pakistan should immediately take action against its Foreign Minister for making highly uncivilized remarks against the Indian Prime Minister and warned that no citizen of India would ever tolerate this kind of language against its Prime Minister.
The BJP State vice president, Yudvir Sethi also expressed his anguish against the disgraceful remarks of the Pakistan Foreign Minister and said such unparliamentary language against any democratically elected Prime Minister of a country was unacceptable.
Later, the protestors submitted a memorandum to the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha with a request to forward it to the President of India, Draupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister Office (PMO) as a cognizance of citizens’ response for the said incident and urged for further necessary action.
