RAJOURI, June 18: Working president JKPCC and former minister Raman Bhalla has said that the BJP’s politics of division and vendetta against main opposition is dangerous for the nation and the democracy in the country.
Addressing a  large ‘Shivir’ of Congress activists at  Rajouri, Bhalla lashed out at the BJP for its politics of division, diversion and vendetta which is not only dangerous for the democracy but the unity and harmony in the country.
JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, former Legislator and national coordinator Vichaar Bhivag, Ashok Sharma, former minister and DCC president Shabir Ahmed Khan, DDC member Sain Abdul Rashed, chairman MC Shakeel Mir, Councillor Rajouri Rajesh Gupta, Sushil Sharma, Khursheed Mir, Lalit Mahajan, Karamat Malik, Capt Joginder Singh, Anil Chopra, Som Raj, Ratan Lal Mehta, Bal Krishan and Suraj Parkash also addressed the gathering.
Bhalla cautioned the people about the vote bank politics of communal and divisive forces and said Congress truly represents the secular ethos, culture traditions of this country which is in its DNA.  Urging people to be ready for uprooting BJP as when elections are held in Jammu and Kashmir, only Congress can bring the people out of the present morass faced by them. Congress will emerge stronger as largest party and would be major player in the next Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
JKPCC chief spokesperson said that BJP is day dreaming about Government formation in Jammu and Kashmir, as every section of people have seen the real face of BJP. He said that BJP has ruined future of youth, farmers and poor middle class in the country especially Jammu and Kashmir. The unemployed youth are frustrated due to record unemployment  and wrong policies like Agnipath which is not anti youth but also amounts to compromising the defence of the country and internal security.
Ashok Sharma said that major employment package be given to border belt of Rajouri-Poonch as it suffered the most. He said only Congress can bring back era of peace, progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir and stressed upon the need to strengthen the organization.
Former minister Shabir Khan highlighted the problems being faced by the people due to unprecedented price hike and large scale unemployment besides lack of regularisation policy for the daily wagers, contractual and other temporary employees in different departments.
Several senior leaders of district Congress and block presidents spoke on the occasion. Prof Vikar Chaudhary, Retd Principal Degree College conducted the proceedings.
A number of resolutions were passed including rejecting the new scheme of Agnipath against which youth are on war path, seeking regularisation of all daily wagers, adhoc, contractual employees, ST status to Paharis, full package to refugees of 1947, 65,1971.
