BJP’s focus is on Mission 44+ for development of State: Nadda

SRINAGAR, July 19:  Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) today said the party’s focus in the State is on development and for this party wants to achieve Mission 44+.
While speaking with party workers here in a basic training session on, “How to achieve Mission 44+” target in the State in forthcoming Assembly elections, BJP’s National General Secretary, Jai Prakesh Nadda stated that the party’s focus would remain peace and prosperity of the people.
Nadda said that party high command has started serious preparations to achieve ‘Mission 44+’ in the forthcoming Assembly elections to keep National Conference and Congress away from power.
The party general secretary also said that party is ready to debate Article 370 in the Parliament so that the political alienation in the State would end.
Addressing a function organized in connection with joining of several social and political activists in the party, BJP leader said that wrong notion has been created by National Conference and Congress about BJP in Kashmir valley.
“We the leaders at National level are desperate to change the notion of Kashmiris about BJP created by National Conference, Congress and other parties for their own political interests,” he said.
He said that National Conference and Congress parties are equally responsible for the present political uncertainty and growing corruption in the State. “We want our party should achieve ‘Mission 44+’ so that corrupt and dynasty rule in the State would come to an end,” he said.
“We have already chipped in to strengthen the party in all the three regions of the State. After showing an impressive performance in Jammu and Ladakh regions in recent Parliament elections, we are on job to strengthen the party in Kashmir valley also so that our Mission 44+ would be achieved,” he said.
Nadda also made it clear that party will not make any pre poll alliance with any of the political party in the coming Assembly elections. “We are optimistic that our candidates will perform excellent in all the three regions of the State,” he said.
He also said that BJP will come up with an agenda of corruption free Government and employment opportunities for the unemployed youths of the State. “The present Coalition Government of Congress and National Conference has discouraged a large section of people in participation in democratic process. We want to include all those people in the democratic system through good governance,” he said.
He also said that in the coming days party will intensify their political campaign in all the three regions of the State and particularly in Kashmir valley to get a reasonable share of  seats in coming Assembly elections.
On the occasion, a number of people from different walks of life joined BJP including Dr Hina Shafi Bhat, daughter of former National Conference MP from Srinagar.
