JAMMU, Oct 28: Working president of JKPCC, Raman Bhalla today said that people by now have understood fully that BJP has nothing to offer except fake promises because its failure on rising inflation, unemployment, communal discord has stalled the progress of the country forcing its leaders like Union Minister Kiren Rijiju to malign the image of first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by creating bogus narratives on history of Kashmir.
Addressing a meeting at JKPCC office Jammu today Bhalla said that not because of his Congress background but as a responsible citizen of the country, he strongly condemned the most irresponsible and concocted statement of the BJP leader disrespecting the first Prime Minister of the country.
Bhalla demanded an unconditional apology from the top brass of the saffron party claiming that this is a failed attempt to divert the attention of common man from the failures of BJP Government on all fronts especially rising prices of essentials, record breaking unemployment, dwindling economy and division of society on communal and regional basis. He said that BJP leadership needs to revisit history books because what they are propagating is false, fabricated and imaginary as the real history has nothing to with all this.
Speaking on this Issue Bhalla said that the BJP leadership has taken no lesson from the embarrassment which it faced when party’s own leader Amit Shah had termed a promise made by PM Narendra Modi as a `Jumla’ and are continuing to speak lies and distort the historical facts. He said that people of J&K and the country will show them their place in the coming elections.
Dr Jahanzab Sirwal, spokesperson of Congress Party also endorsed the statement of Bhalla and asserted that BJP has nothing to showcase to the people with regard to its achievements therefore, it has chosen the easy path of mudslinging those who are not alive.
“This is the cheapest form of the politics and the people will teach the unprincipled party a lesson of life by rejecting it in J&K in the upcoming polls”, he said adding that the saffron party has lowered the politics in the country to the lowest level as never in the past leaders of any party stooped so low.
Former minister Yogesh Sawhney, senior leaders Manmohan Singh, Sahil Sharma, Pawan Dev Singh, Kewal Krishan Yogi, Gurmeet Singh and Nassir Masih also spoke on the occasion.
