JAMMU, Dec 17: Under party’s ongoing training workshops on the birth centenary year of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay, BJP Training Department organized one day ‘Prashikshan Varg’ here today.
BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, along with State secretary Sanjay Baru, Mahila Morcha State president Purnima Sharma, Training Department Incharge, Rajeev Charak, Co-Incharge, Subash Bhagat and Purshotam Sharma and Varg Pramukh Monika Khosla, inaugurated the workshop. It was attended by over 130 women activists drawn from all the districts of the State.
Sat Sharma, in his address, spoke on the life of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and said that the great leader devoted whole of his life for the cause of the nation and common man. He said that the BJP is in power in 14 states and at the Centre, this has not happened overnight but took decades of consistent efforts of the great patriots like Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and his successors, who have worked selflessly. He said that such training workshops are important to cope with the developing political scenario of the country.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while addressing the workshop, said that Pt. Deep Dayal Upadhayay himself set an example by his selfless service towards the nation and the party. Organizing such workshops are also tribute to great ideologues like Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and will prove to be an effective mean of updating the party activists with the noble and uncompromising principles of the party. It will also make Mahila Morcha activists acquainted with the achievements of the government at the Centre and in the State.
Rajya Sabha MP, Shamsher Singh Manhas, while speaking on history of BJP, starting from the days of Praja Parishad and Bharatiya Jana Sangh, said that our ancestors in the party planted a sapling, which has now grown into a big tree called Bharatiya Janata Party.
BJP State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, in one of the sessions, spoke on “Our Principles” and said that BJP works on a set philosophy, which form the base of the organization. He said that non deviation from principles finally lead to success.
State secretary Rajinder Sharma spoke on Challenges before nation.
Prof Virender Gupta, spoke on Integral Humanism.
Rajeev Charak spoke on Worker, Working System and personality development.
Mahila Morcha State president Purnima Sharma spoke on achievements of Centre and State Governments and appealed the Morcha activists to highlight the same in their respective areas.
IT & Social Media Department Incharge Jaidev Rajwal gave presentation on demonetization and cashless transaction.
