BJP Yuva Morcha highlights migrants’ problems

JAMMU, Oct 1: A meeting of the Yuva Morcha of the BJP Kashmir Displaced district was held here, today in which various problems faced by the community were discussed.
The problems that came up for discussion in the meeting included reservation of KP youth in Central Government departments like Railways, banking sector, Insurance sector etc, special recruitment drive be carried out in migrant camps for KP youth in the J&K Police under recently announced scheme by Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh, interest free long term loans to the over-aged youth to set up and augment their business establishments, issuance of appointment orders to the selected candidates under PM package, immediate issuance of notification for filling up of remaining 4200 posts under PM package out of 6000 posts announced by the then Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh in 2008, resolution of demands of PM package employees and non package employees affected by recent turmoil in Valley and extension of programmes like Ujjawala and Udaan to migrant camps and KP colonies.
The meeting further demanded that issues pertaining to Relief and Rehabilitation Department were also discussed and it was urged that the authorities should ensure speedy bifurcation of ration cards, deletion of separate kitchen clause which is against the fundamental rights, simplification of PRCs, immediate restoration of RBA rights, simplification of PM’s mediclaim facility, permanent solution to water crisis at Jagti and other demands. The meeting was chaired by Ramesh Kaul president of the Yuva Morcha, displaced district.
