JAMMU, Nov 18: Underlining commitment of the Party towards addressing aspirations of the people, senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today said that the party is working on the agenda of development and providing a corruption free transparent administration. He said the coalition Government in the State is committed to all round development and with active support of the Central Government mega development projects have been launched.
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has recently announced special package of Rs 80,000 crores for the State and the package would be utilized for all round development in the State, he added.
Yudhvir was addressing a gathering while launching black topping work in Lajpat Nagar, Ward No. – 19, here.
The up-gradation and renovation works in the Ward would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 3.50 Lacs.
Underscoring on creating durable assets for society, Yudhvir said that stringent quality control would be maintained while executing development works and all works are being sanctioned in most transparent manner. He said the people have already started appreciating the improved quality of work being undertaken by different agencies in the city and other parts of the State.
During earlier regimes the works were allocated for accommodating particular people but now the trend has changed and all development works are allocated in most transparent manner, he added.
