JAMMU, May 24: BJP workers and supporters celebrated the party victory in Lok Sabha elections by organizing rallies and distributing sweets amidst drum beats.
At Udhampur, a large number of BJP workers and supporters assembled at the residence of former MLA Pawan Gupta and exchanged greetings for big win in the elections. Amidst raising of slogans, a victory procession was taken out from Pawan Gupta’s residence. On reaching at Dabbar Chowk, the procession turned into a rally, which was addressed by Pawan Gupta and other leaders of BJP.
While addressing the gathering, Pawan Gupta said that BJP was voted again to power because of good governance provided under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 2014 to 2019. He further said that PM Modi has a great vision for the development and addressing the problems of common masses.
Pawan Gupta informed that 78 percent of total votes in Udhampur were cast in favour of BJP, which has once again established the tremendous support of Udhampur people for the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Others, who spoke on the occasion, included Dr Yogeshwar Gupta, Chairman of Udhampur Municipal Council, BJP leader Raj Kumar Buccha, Sham Swaroom Kalsotra, Councilors Kush Pachyala, Anil Arora, Rakesh Sharma, Pankaj Proch, Sarpanch Shashipal Sadhotra, Sarpanch Balwan Singh and Sarpanch Parshotam Gupta.
Reports from Samba said that a large number of BJP worker and senior leaders, led by Ex MLA Samba Dr D K Manyal assembled at Border Road near Chak Manga Rakwal Samba and celebrated the party victory in Lok Sabha elections.
They raised slogan in praise of Narendra Modi and also burst the fire crackers besides distributing sweets among the local peoples.
While talking to media person’s, Dr D K Manyal said that the party has given results on ground because of good governance provided by Modi Government, which worked with commitment to lift the living standards of every single neglected individual and initiated Central schemes for the welfare of the poor with assurance of delivering benefits to the needy.
Similarly, the BJP workers also celebrated the party victory at BJP office Ramgarh where they distributes sweets among the people.
