BJP will sacrifice principles: Omar

SRINAGAR, Sept 23: Upping the ante on the coalition Government over suspension of the Additional Advocate General (AAG), Jammu and the Deputy Advocate General (DAG) over beef issue, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said like the People’s Democratic Party, BJP will also sacrifice its principles to remain in power.
“Don’t worry, like Mufti Sb & his party the BJP will also sacrifice its principles to remain in power. Keep watching”, Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
The Government yesterday ordered the disengagement of AAG, Jammu Vishal Sharma and DAG, Jammu Parimoksh Seth with immediate effect.
Accusing the PDP-led Government of failing to deliver on their promises, Mr Abdullah said the party will now replay 2008 to try and get people to forget their sins.

In 2008, the PDP pulled out support from coalition Government with the Congress over Amarnath land row.
Taking a jibe at Chief Minster Mufti Mohammad Sayeed over suspension of hardliner Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s passport for four weeks, Omar said the PDP patron has come a long way from being the man  who talked about heeling touch and battle of ideologies.
