SAMBA, Mar 21: Apni Party president, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari while making a scathing attack on BJP for bringing outsiders from Bihar and UP under the garb of revocation of Article 370 and 35 A claimed that the party will not cross the double digit in upcoming Assembly elections in the J&K UT.
Talking to reporters at the sidelines of a public rally in Vijaypur, Altaf Bukhari said that BJP deceived the people of Jammu and misled them on the name of abrogation of 370 and 35 A and claimed that the party will not cross double digit figure in coming elections.
He said BJP was in power for four years and asked what it did for people during this period? What is the performance of the party and on what basis the people will vote for the party, he added.
He said the BJP Government looted the resources of J&K through outsiders and if Apni Party will come to power it will throw all the outsiders out of Lakhanpur.

Bukahri also lambasted BJP for the installation of electronic meters and hiking power tariff. He asked the people to defeat the BJP leaders in the coming elections and if Apni Party will come to power it will dismantle all the electronic meters.
He held the party responsible for the plight of the border people as well as the business community and alleged that the party misled them by false promises.
He said his Apni Party will restore darbar move practice and will not allow loot of natural resources of J&K by the outsiders from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Bukhari said that the 200 year old State was reduced into a Union Territory and then it was divided i.e., Ladakh and J&K creating a perception among the people that the scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A was important to allow development in J&K.
The public rally was organized by provincial president and Ex-Minister, Manjit Singh at VIjapur.
In his address, Senior Vice President of Apni Party, Ghulam Hassan Mir appealed to the Jatt Community to get united and support Manjit Singh, who is the provincial president of Apni Party in Jammu in the upcoming Assembly polls.
Vice president, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali appreciated Manjit Singh for his efforts for the people of Samba district.
Similarly, vice president Javed Mustafa Mir also spoke on the occasion and said that the kandi areas of Samba district should be focused for the developmental activities. The previous Governments have not been able to do work for the people, but it was Manjit Singh when he was MLA he worked for the people, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, State general secretary Vijay Bakaya also highlighted various issues and how circumstances lead to the foundation of Apni Party as there was no one to represent people when the special status was revoked.
State general secretary, Vikram Malhotra also addressed the people and said that the villages on the extreme border deserved reservation but they were ignored and non-deserving villages were included as border villages which were an injustice to the people.
Provincial president Jammu and Ex-Minister, Manjit Singh highlighted detailed concerns of the people and their suffering due to under development, unemployment, poor health, education, constituency issues and other related issues.
He said that the border constituencies have been reserved and the Jatt community has less representation even as they have a vast population spread over the entire border in Jammu.
