BJP State office bearers discuss strategy for 2-day executive meet

JAMMU, Mar 20: To review the ongoing party programmes and chalk out the agenda and preparations for Party’s two day Core Committee and State Executive meetings to be held on March 31 and April 1 at Party Headquarters Trikuta Nagar and Suchetgarh respectively, State BJP conducted meeting of its office bearers and State Morcha presidents here, today.
The meeting was chaired by BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) along with State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, State general secretaries, Dr. Narinder Singh, Pawan Khajuria and Harinder Gupta.
Sat Sharma, while welcoming all the State office bearers in the meeting emphasized that the organization forms the basis of a Government, so the prime focus of the party is to strengthen the organization. He said that all the activists of BJP irrespective of the party responsibility have been working enthusiastically for the advancement of the party without any target on elections.
He called for increased “Pravas (frequent visits and stay in allotted areas)” by office bearers of the party. He said that national president, Amit Shah is also impressed by the organizational outreach in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
Sat Sharma informed that the State BJP will hold its office bearers and Working Committee meeting on March 31 and April 1 respectively. He said that the Working Committee meeting forms an important part in the programming and implementation of party programmes and policies.
Ashok Kaul, while addressing the office bearers, said that although BJP has continuously worked for the welfare of the common masses since its inception, but there is a further need to increase the efforts to address the people’s issues. He said that the people of the region have always viewed BJP as their own party, so the party activists have to increase their efficiency and the efforts, while they are in Government as they have to balance in between the organization and the Government. He particularly emphasized on the outreach of the party’s ideology to the remotest parts of Ladakh, Kashmir and all the hilly areas of Jammu.
Dr. Narinder Singh earlier presented the agenda of meeting and threw light on the recent organizational programmes organized in the State.
