JAMMU, Jan 18: To review the working of cells of Bharatiya Janata Party, a meeting of State Convenors and Co-Convenors of all cells was held at party headquarters, here today.
During the meet, which was presided over by State general secretary(Org) Ashok Koul and MLA Jammu West and State Incharge Cells Sat Sharma (CA), working of all cells was reviewed and a future road map of work for cells was also crafted.
BJP leaders MLA Sham Choudhary, State vice president Col Uttam Singh, SS Bijral and Brig Anil Gupta were also present in the meeting.
Addressing the Convenors and Co-Convenors, Ashok Koul appreciated the work of Cells in the Assembly polls and said that Cells played a very important role in the election through their teams which went door-to-door covering majority areas of the constituencies of the region. He said that cells of the party also hold a share of hard work in the history which BJP has created in these elections by sweeping many seats in the Assembly polls. He stated that in coming days Cells should also focus on increasing the membership drive of BJP so that more and more people could join the party and understand the real ideologue of BJP for the public.
Sat Sharma (CA) said that in forthcoming days, Cells will organize mass level programmes in order to reach out maximum people to enhance the membership programme of the party.
Dr Tahir, Rajnish Jain, Rajeev Charak, Sanjay Khanna, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Vikram Randhawa, Subash Gupta, Baldev Singh, S Amrik Singh, Ravinder Gupta, Narottam Sharma, Jaidev Rajwal, Sanjeev Gupta, Ashok Kumar Khajuria, Vijay Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, CA Deepak Kapahi, CA Anil Sharma, CA Satish Gupta, Bishamber Singh, Om Parkash Gupta, Yog Raj Padha, Shashi Pal Vaid, Gajay Singh Rana, Subash Bhagat, Vipin Shastri, BK Koul, Brahmjyot Citu and others were also present in the meeting.
