BJP ready to face elections anytime: Vibodh Gupta

RAJOURI, Mar 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a workshop on Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (booth strengthening campaign) at Dak Bunglow Koteranka, in Budhal Assembly constituency.
The meeting was presided over by BJP J&K UT general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta. Prabhari BJP Rajouri, district, Jugal Dogra, senior BJP leader, Dev Raj Sharma, Prabhari Budhal Assembly (Lok Sabha Pravas), Subash Sharma, prominent BJP leader from Budhal Assembly and incharge Rajouri Assembly Segment (Lok Sabha Pravas), Manzoor Ahmed Naik and many other senior leaders were also present.
In the workshop, “Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan” was discussed minutely by the senior party leaders.
Vibodh Gupta said that all booth level committees should work actively and diligently. Gupta asked all booth level workers to connect with people to ensure victory in upcoming elections. Vibodh said the party leaders to contact the ground level workers and the common masses hailing from their booth area to apprise them of the works done by the BJP Government.
Gupta said that the party should give the responsibility to Shakti Kendra and to the senior party leaders to strengthen the booths. Vibodh asked the workers to create awareness about the schemes and Yojanas of the Central Government among the people and to carry out an extensive outreach programme to meet scheme beneficiaries. ” Our slogan to strengthen booths is not new. The slogan to strengthen the Mandal and the booth has been there since 1951, at the time of the Jana Sangh. It was our routine programme. Before, the upcoming elections, booth committees will be strengthened and revitalized. Steps will be taken to strengthen the organisation at the Mandal and Panchayat level,” Vibodh added.
Jugal Dogra while addressing the workers asserted that as a part of this campaign, BJP workers will have to form teams, train them, and then carry out outreach activities in the area that comes under these weaker polling booths.

Manzoor Naik, who is also incharge of Mann ki Baat programme, Rajouri district shared the technical details.
